Writer’s Circle

Writer’s Circle is an academic drop off K-12 program meeting since 2010.  Our ‘DNA’ is personal growth, kindness, diligence, and effort wound through with encouragement, standards of consistent effort, and understanding of the unique variations of individual academic ability.

Writer’s Circle seeks students who are open to being inspired to learn to become the best version of themselves through being diligent with their academics alongside being equally open to playing hard and building friendships based upon kindness, character, and academics. Our teachers promote integrity and maturity through classical academics presented in a manner that allows the pace of the class to be indicated child by child.

Writer’s Circle is a great fit for the typical learner, and we specialize in ‘different learners’: anxiety, light special needs (dyslexia, processing, delays, etc), ADD, ADHD and the likes.

Writer’s Circle focuses on whole child learning. Our quest is to enliven the understanding, and love of life-long learning, while utilizing the stepping stones of class instruction, assignments, and grades to teach our students the joy of unwrapping new discoveries while, at the same time, helping our students realize that it is their own ability and dedication to learn (independently) that will instill contentment, self-satisfaction, and change.

Writer’s Circle stylizes our classroom education according to age and maturity.  Our Half Pints (grades K-2nd/3rd) receive a child focused education full of movement, exploration, and discovery.  Explorers (grades 3rd/4th – 5th) matures into the joy and pride of taking personal responsibility for one’s lessons and learning (with mom/dad as a guide to seek when needed).  Level I (middles school) advanced toward organization and traditional and independent learning.  These middle schoolers are given a full academic load and guided to become independent students who take ownership of their future goals by attending to their present requirements.  Level II (high school) becomes responsible for their goals, level of achievement, and success taught, encouraged, and guided by teachers that promote learning as the ultimate goal rather than completion of a textbook.

In all of our grades excellence of achievement is welcomed but not the prize.  Working diligently to the best of one’s ability while growing in maturity and joy of learning for the sake that it is the responsibility put before oneself is the prize.  This means that one size does not fit all, but that each student is seen as unique with an independent set of expectations according to their ability.  For a dyslexic student this will be very different that a mainstream learner.  The level of work turned in my vary markedly while both can receive top marks -for putting forth their full effort.

All students compete against their personal best in all areas from kindness to academics with the understanding that this is the heart and soul of being a part of our fun days at Writer’s Circle https://cz-lekarna.com/…ky-priligy/.  Amidst all of this academic focus, we have large blocks of playtime for our students to create and grow friendships with peers while playing out of doors and sharing a meal.
